Dolphin watching at Kalpitiya,Sri Lanka Kalpitiya is known for its beaches and boats - so if you're ever there in November or December, it's the right time to go out to sea and check out the dolphins.Sail into the Indian Ocean and you could see small pods of dolphins up to 1000. Kalpitiya is perfect for dolphin and whale watching, because you do not have to head out too deep into the ocean to catch a glimpse of them. The continental shelf is much closer than reported in admiralty charts the shelf actually runs near and alongside the shoreline. This means you can see many species of marine life just a short boat ride away from the shore. The sea will not be as rough during this period as it is during the monsoon season and it will be easier to spot dolphins as a result. You could witness Pods that have hundreds of dolphins are spotted often in Kalpitiya, especially near the Bar Reef, which is just a one-hour boat ride away. Sightings are almost guaranteed during this period. The excursions will ideally commence at sunrise, and last about 2-3 hours. Watching dolphins swimming alongside you and under your boat while they leap out of the ocean is truly an unforgettable experience. #srilanka #srilankatravel #srilankatravels #srilankatravelsecrets #srilankatravelservices #kalpitiya #kalpitiyalagoon #kalpitiyabeach #dolphins #dolphinwatching #dolphinwatch #Dolphin watching at Kalpitiya,Sri Lanka #Kalpitiya Dolphin watching Sri Lanka #Things to do in Kalpitiya Sri Lanka#Dolphin watching in Sri lanka For More Info Visit :https://bestoflanka.com/tailor-make.php?lId=07

Just over 40km from Colombo, bustling Kalutara is the first beach resort we reach when traveling south of Colombo. Kalutara has a huge stretch of fine sand with Wadduwa to the north which is home to the area's top resorts.
